Neutral colors like tan, black, grey, white are very much in for 2011

 Adding a dash of color to neutral creates interest

Adding black with neutrals colors such as dull pink , dull green also works fine

Appropriate accessories can bring dramatic change to the whole look.The thumb rule for accessories is to a  create focal point. Have either big ear rings or big neck piece but not both.

  

 

In this though the dress is very beautiful the focal point is the long chain.  We first notice the chain than the dress

In this there is no focal point . Each & every part of the dress is too heavy – the lehanga, chunni & even the blouse sleeve is embroidered heavily. With all this  the neck piece is also heavy. Since the lehanga border is of light shade than rest of the garment the first thing anyone notices is the lehanga border. I guess we want people to look at our face or jewellery or complete dress  not the border of the dress.

 

 

For this cream  hot pink sari wearing pink ear rings would take away attention from blouse pattern to the models face. Though model is wearing heavy ear rings because of the ear rings color the focus to blouse & sari is still maintained
