Fashion Jargon
For many days I was confused between few garments like Sharara, lacha & leghanga. Lets see the definition of few garments.

Sharara and Lacha are essentially Pakistani garments while leghanga is Indian. Lacha & Leghanga have skirt as bottom garment while Shara's bottom is flared pants.
Sharara
Leghanga is worn with choli while the other two are worn with kurti.
 Lacha

The Choli on  lehanga is worn either long or short and not absolute body fit as sari blouse

Lehanga

Half Sari is like leghanga-choli and is worn by South Indians. The choli is body fitting like sari blouse.

Half-Sari or Pavada

Saris are also of different type. A half-n-half sari is similar to half sari in appearance. The sari is made of two different colored fabrics of equal length.
Half-n-Half Sari
A Patili Pallu sari is also made of two different colored fabrics like half-n-half sari but the two fabrics are of not equal length. One fabric is only at the pleats portion of the sari and the other fabric forms rest of the sari.

Celebrity Fashion

Lets check the celebrity's fashion sense. How good are bad they are being supported by Stylists, fashion houses. This month's celebrity is Ashwarya Rai Bachan.

Check this dress worn by Ash to one of the events. She had to give this pose due to the silhouette of the dress as one side of the dress pops out. Also a layer, like tucked in top, inside the black part of the dress is visible

This dress is for skinny people,  for sure not for Ash. She doesn't look slim. This dress made her loose her natural hour glass figure.

This dress is for much younger ladies. This kind of stiff fabrics should be avoided for not skinny physique and/or 30+. Her dress, make-up, her hair style put together de-glamorized the world's most beautiful women.

Wadrobe

Dressing for occasion is a key to fashion statement. Wearing appropriate dress and being comfortable will naturally make one confident. If one can carry a dress gracefully half of the job of being fashionable is done.

In this month's edition we will check wadrobe for wedding sangeet. As sangeet has lot of dancing choose a very comfortable garment. Pure Silk fabrics that are natural observe sweat & are comfortable. Avoid complete sequenced fabrics.

Coming to silhouettes sharara is a better choice. Else go for flared lehanga instead of fish cut or tight fit one.
Tight Fit Lehanga

To keep garment light avoid heavy embroideries with pearls, beads & stones. Instead go for rich fabrics like pure raw silk and/or rich broacade & tissue fabrics
